This was the initial cover rendering. I found it very disappointing, frankly. It reminded me of something from a 1956 Reader's Digest Condensed Book. |
| I suggested that the cover might want to deep focus on a body part: eyebrows, fingers, etc. This concept shows a focus on a dancer's painted feet. |
| Everyone felt more mystery was desirable. Here, dancers swirling in darkness create a sort of abstract of motion. |
